Today, I had the pleasure of sitting down with my good friend and mentor, the legendary Miss Zora Young. I enjoyed having her in the studio with me. We also pay tribute to legendary Blues and Boogie Woogie Pianist Barrelhouse Chuck, who passed away on December 12th and Joe Ligon of the Mighty Clouds of Joy, who passed away on December 11th. Tune in next week as I sit down with Rosalind Cummings-Yeates and David Whiteis, two great journalists and writers who will talk about the Blues.
